Berlin Music Days aka BerMuDa will overfill the city with clubbing music for 4 days, the climax of this short but intense period of time being the Fly festival in Tempelhol featuring LOTS of DJs you wanna party with: Digitalism, Ellen Allien, Wankelmut, Sven Väth, Chris Liebing… and Magda who has been building her label Items&Things bigger and stronger with her partners the DJ/producers Marc Houle and Troy Pierce. D-R-U-N-K: “Guetto” Ep. (Police Records)

D-R-U-N-K is the new solo project of French contemporary sound innovator, Oly Grasset, better known as the mastermind behind the industrial-techno-duo-MOTOR (CLR/Novamute/Dim Mak/Shitkatapult).

Since starting D-R-U-N-K in November 2011, Oly has been busy writing, producing and remixed/collaborated with heavy weights such as The Micronauts, Marseille, Super Super, Eskimo Twins, Volatile, Rotze, with more releases and remixes scheduled for this year.

Interview with Bryan Black (Motor)

I must say that it is not easy to make an interview with such a big artist. Just to get you into the mood:

Bryan Black grew up in the city of Minneapolis. After seeing the film ‘Purple Rain’, Bryan decided his future was in music. He frequently performed at the famous First Avenue nightclub in Minneapolis with his first band, Haloblack. Prince became one of his fans, and invited Bryan to come and work for him at Paisley Park Studios after one of Haloblack’s live performances. Bryan worked with Prince as a sound designer, and keyboard technition in the late 1990′s.
